AI service that makes images and short videos from text prompts
Midjourney makes images from a short text description, called a prompt. Each prompt gives a set of four images. You can make variations, edit images with written instructions in the Editor, and turn an image into a 5-second video.
It runs in the cloud. You use it on the midjourney.com website or with the Midjourney Bot in Discord. Every plan works in both places. Each generation uses GPU time from your plan.
There are four plans, billed in US dollars: Basic $10/month (about 3.3 hours of fast GPU time), Standard $30/month (15 hours), Pro $60/month (30 hours) and Mega $120/month (60 hours). Paying for a year gives 20% off. Standard and up add unlimited image generation in Relax Mode. Stealth Mode, which keeps your images private, is only on Pro and Mega. Extra GPU time costs $4 per hour.
There is no free trial on the website or in Discord. You own the images and videos you make. A company with more than $1,000,000 USD in yearly gross revenue must use the Pro or Mega plan.
