AI image and video generator inside Grok, on the web, phone apps and API
Grok Imagine makes and edits images and videos from text prompts or reference photos. It is the image and video part of Grok, the AI assistant by SpaceXSI (xAI), with its own page at grok.com/imagine. You can turn an image into a video, edit one area of an image, remove backgrounds, resize to any ratio and start from ready-made templates. Videos have generated sound and run up to 15 seconds, up to 1080p.
It runs in the cloud: on the web, in the Grok apps for iOS and Android, and through the Imagine API (images from $0.02 each, video from $0.02 per second).
Plans on The X Subscription, in US dollars per month before tax: Free $0 has limited image generation and no video. Plus $8 includes image generation. Premium $30, Super $100 and Ultra $200 also include video, with 4x, 15x and 50x the usage of Plus. Usage is one weekly pool shared across Grok products. Older SuperGrok and X Premium plans continue.
Every image and video carries a Grok watermark that cannot be removed.
