WooCommerce is an e-commerce platform for WordPress. You add it to a WordPress site to sell physical and digital products, product variations, downloads, subscriptions and bookings. It handles the cart and checkout, orders, customers, coupons, taxes, shipping and sales reports, and has a REST API and webhooks. The maker says the WooCommerce Marketplace has over 1,000 extensions and that more than 4 million online stores were built with it.
You run it on your own WordPress hosting and choose your payment provider. A free mobile app for iOS and Android (also watchOS and Wear OS) manages orders and products and takes in-person payments.
