Wix is a website builder that runs in the browser. Its editor, Wix Harmony, creates a site from a text prompt, and you can then change any detail with drag and drop. A built-in AI agent, Aria, answers questions and makes changes on request. You can also start from one of 2,000+ templates.
Business tools are built in: online store, bookings, blog, events and tickets, online courses, payments, CRM, email marketing, SEO tools and analytics. Wix hosts every site. The Wix app for iOS and Android manages a site from a phone. Developers can use Wix Headless, the Wix APIs, a JavaScript SDK and the Wix CLI.
Creating a site is free, on a Wix address. Paid plans add a custom domain and more: Light $17/month, Core $29/month, Business $39/month, Business Elite $159/month (USD, billed yearly; prices and currency vary by location). Paid plans have a 14-day money-back guarantee. Wix states that 300M+ sites were built on Wix (home page).
Anyone who wants to create a website without coding, and businesses that want to sell, take bookings and market themselves online. Agencies and freelancers are pointed to Wix Studio, and large companies to Wix Enterprise.
