Ko-fi gives creators one web page where fans can send one-time or monthly tips, join membership tiers, buy digital or physical products and order commissions. Creators can also post updates, share supporter-only content, set funding goals, run polls, give Discord roles to supporters and show stream alerts on Twitch and YouTube.
Ko-fi does not hold the money. The creator connects their own PayPal or Stripe account and is paid directly. Supporters can pay with PayPal, cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, Cash App and local payment methods. Widgets and embeds put the page on a website or WordPress blog.
Creating a page is free and there is no monthly fee. Ko-fi Free: 0% fee on tips, 5% on memberships, shop and commissions. Standard (default for new creators): 5% service fee on all payments, with extra tools such as supporter-only content and scheduled posts. Gold: US$12/month with a 0% service fee. Normal payment processor fees also apply.
Creators of all kinds who want to earn from their fans: streamers, artists, writers, crafters, podcasters, video creators, cosplayers, musicians, developers and communities.
