Quillbot (earlier written QuillBot) is a set of AI tools for writing and creating. It started in 2017 as a paraphrasing tool and is a business of Learneo, Inc. (formerly Course Hero). The Paraphraser rewrites text in 9 built-in modes, such as Fluency, Formal, Academic and Humanize, plus custom modes. Other tools include a Grammar Checker, AI Detector, AI Humanizer, Plagiarism Checker, Summarizer, Translator (40+ languages), Citation Generator, AI Chat, an image generator, design templates and PDF tools.
It runs on quillbot.com in the browser, as a Chrome, Edge and Safari extension, as a Word add-in, as apps for macOS and Windows, and as a keyboard and app for iOS and Android.
Plans: Free (paraphrase up to 100 words in 2 modes, basic grammar fixes, limited AI Detector) and Premium (US$19.95 per month, US$79.95 every 6 months, or US$99.95 per year, which is US$8.33 per month). A Team Plan adds user management.
