Make (formerly Integromat) is a platform for building automated workflows and AI agents on a visual canvas. A workflow is called a scenario. You build it by drag-and-drop, by asking the Maia AI assistant, or from Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini through the Make MCP server. You can add your own JavaScript or Python code where needed.
Make runs in the cloud and is used in the web browser. Make apps for iOS and Android let scenarios use phone events and actions. The maker says Make connects 3,500+ apps, and any service with an API can be added as a custom app (make.com home page).
Use is counted in credits: most actions use 1 credit. Plans: Free ($0, 1,000 credits a month), Core ($9 a month), Pro ($16 a month), Teams ($29 a month) and Enterprise (custom price). The paid prices are for 10,000 credits a month, billed yearly (make.com/pricing).
Make is part of Celonis. The maker states it is GDPR compliant and SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 certified.
Teams and organizations that use AI and automation across the business, from one department to the whole company. The maker says anyone who can map out steps, conditions and outcomes can build without code, and developers can add custom code.
The Free plan gives 1,000 credits a month against 100 tasks on Zapier Free, and paid plans start at $9 a month billed yearly.
Has a free cloud plan and apps for iOS and Android; n8n Cloud has only a free trial.
Zapier's hosted MCP server that lets AI tools run actions in 9,000+ apps
Covers 9,000+ apps (Zapier's figure) against 3,500+ for Make (Make's figure), and AI tools sign in with OAuth and pick the tools they need during a chat.
