Kling AI is an app for making videos and images with its own Kling models, run by Kling AI Pte. Ltd. You write a prompt or add reference images, videos or elements, and get a video with sound, or an image. Kling 4.0 is rolling out in October 2026: videos of 3 to 30 seconds, up to 4K, from up to 15 references. Kling 3.0 makes videos up to 15 seconds with native audio and lip-sync in several languages.
It runs in the cloud: on the website, in iOS and Android apps and in a desktop app for Windows and macOS. It also has a Canvas with an AI agent for scripts and storyboards, motion control, avatars, image editing, an API, and MCP and CLI access for AI agents.
The Basic plan is free; free videos have a watermark. Monthly plans: Standard US$8.80 (660 credits), Pro US$32.56 (3,000 credits), Premier US$80.96 (8,000 credits), Ultra US$159.99 (26,000 credits). The first month costs less, and yearly billing shows 34% off. Paid plans remove the watermark and list commercial use.
