Framer

Website builder with a design canvas, CMS, hosting and an AI design agent

Framer is a website builder. You design pages on a canvas, manage content in a CMS and publish the site on Framer hosting. A built-in agent designs layouts, sets up and updates the CMS and writes code components; every change stays visible and editable on the canvas. External agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Antigravity connect with npx @framer/agent, and their changes go to a branch.

Framer runs in the browser, and there is a desktop app for Mac and Windows. Sites get built-in SEO, analytics, localization, staging and A/B testing (some as add-ons). Developers can add code components, overrides, plugins and use the Server API.

Prices per site per month, billed yearly (framer.com/pricing): Free $0 (500 AI credits to try, Framer domain), Basic $10 ($15 billed monthly), Pro $30 ($45 billed monthly), Enterprise custom. Extra editors cost $20 per month; viewers are free. The agent and other AI features use credits.
