Online marketplace where you open a shop and sell creative and vintage items
Etsy is an online marketplace for items that sellers made, designed, handpicked or sourced. A seller opens an Etsy shop and manages listings, orders, buyer messages, stats, marketing and finances in Shop Manager on the web, or in the Etsy Seller app for iOS and Android. Etsy Payments accepts cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Etsy Gift Cards and Klarna (where available).
There is no monthly fee. Fees (Fees & Payments Policy): $0.20 USD per listing, active for four months; a 6.5% transaction fee on the item price plus shipping and gift wrap; a payment processing fee by bank country, for example 3% + $0.25 USD in the US or 4% + €0.30 EUR in most EU countries. A one-time shop set-up fee may apply. Offsite Ads cost 15% (12% for shops with $10,000 USD+ in yearly sales) only on sales from those ads. Etsy Ads use a daily budget you set. Etsy Plus is optional at $10 USD a month.
The Etsy Open API v3 is a REST API for listings, inventory, orders and shop management.
People who sell original items they made, designed, handpicked or sourced, from hobby shops to growing brands, as Etsy's sell page describes. The Open API is for sellers and developers who build tools for Etsy shops.
